The presentations in this session places emphasis on challenges related to interdisciplinary land systems research. The presenters discuss – using examples from their individual disciplinary background – what they will require in terms of level of documentation and standards to confirm research hypothesis. The panel discussion focus on how to deal with the different disciplinary cultures, agendas, data standards, empirical demands and meanings.
